Tracking the LA Fires with Geospatial Data
I created this time-lapse using data from VIIRS and Deck.GL to visualize the spread of the devastating LA fires. My hope is that this visualization helps raise awareness of the ongoing impact on our communities and the environment.
The fires are a stark reminder of the challenges faced in mitigating climate-related disasters. My thoughts are with those who have lost their lives, their loved ones, their homes, and the brave individuals working tirelessly to contain the blazes.
